Job Description

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by building a pipeline of qualified leads through email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Setup discovery and solution calls for Account Managers, briefing them on call notes and background prior
  • Find contact info for B2B prospects, then identify best ways to support them with OMDIA’ products and services
  • Sell research, events, webinars and other products to components, devices, and cybersecurity industries/professionals
  • Qualify new leads and learn to ask the right questions – dig for pain, identify problem areas, and knowledge gaps
  • Set up analyst briefings with clients where necessary
  • Develop and manage email and social selling campaigns to generate new sales prospects through alternative methods
  • Strategize with marketing team on lead gen campaigns
  • Work with Sales Managers and Account Managers on various ad-hoc projects where necessary

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience doing inside sales selling a B2B products/software – comfortable calling executives on the phone
  • A professional interest in building a career in sales and/or tech sales
  • Resilience, perseverance, and the ability to overcome objections – as with any sales job rejection comes with the territory
  • Navigate an enterprise-level sales process using urgency and tempo required to hit daily, weekly and monthly targets
  • Self-disciplined, organized, motivated and able to work in a high-energy, sales-team environment
  • Unquestioned ethics and clarity around doing the right thing for our customers, for your co-workers, and for the company
